What we do

BPS is registered as a social enterprise to allow it to generate profit and retain surplus income for reinvestment or use it to promote the non-profit objectives of our parent organisation, that is promoting sustainable development in Southern and Western provinces of Rwanda.

Our Business Activities

Our Main business activity is wholesale of solid, liquid and gaseous fuels and related products, but we are interested or engaged in the following activities:

  • Designing, manufacturing and selling improved cook stoves.
  • Innovating , testing , manufacturing , selling other alternative sources of clean energy.
  • Wholesale of construction materials, hardware, plumbing and heating equipment and supplies.
  • Consultancy services.

We also offer the following services:

  • We offer support and expertise in designing, in implementing, monitoring and evaluation of development projects in Eastern Africa. We do this work on our own or in partnership with local/foreign organisations, where we also help connect our customers with local/foreign partners.
  • We offer Consultancy Services, Trainings and Workshops in various highly specialized areas such as Carbon Trade, Community Development, Project Cycle Management, Environment Management, Waste Management, etc.
  • We are able to offer our trainees an opportunity to do practical training in our successful ongoing projects in many areas of Rwanda. Our network of resource persons in and outside the country assures our customers to get the best training with up-to-date technology.
  • We supply products, merchandises and services in wider areas of Rwanda through our well-established network enumerators, field facilitators and staff members in field zones.
